Tuthill Transport Technologies is the “Line of Business” name arising from the acquisition and merger of two companies in the heavy-duty suspension and off-road axle industries. These companies were formerly known as Fluidrive, Inc. of Brookston Indiana, Reyco® Industries, Inc. of Mount Vernon Missouri, and Reyco Canada, Inc. in Grimsby Ontario. Tuthill Corporation purchased Fluidrive Inc. in December 1998 and then purchased the Reyco companies in February 1999.

Reyco Granning introduces the industry’s first independent front
suspension for Class 8 trucks.

Reyco Granning has debuted a record-setting 10 new products, including the industry’s first viable Class 8 Independent Front Suspension. In addition, Reyco Granning announced the industry’s only lifetime suspension warranty.

Reyco Granning’s revolutionary Class 8 IFS creates a new suspension category by being the first viable IFS ever created for class 8 trucks. It allows class 8 vehicles to attain automobile-type handling, with minimal cost and weight penalty.

In keeping with Reyco Granning’s QVA promise of quality, value and availability, other innovations include a uniquely engineered, low-weight, low-maintenance next generation air ride slider, which features reduced tire wear, no dock walk or dock drop, and superior ride stability. Its patented design also provides greater corrosion resistance and is better suited for wide-based tires than conventional air ride suspensions.

Other new suspensions include the 20AR/RS3162 DOCKMASTER 2.1, a full-featured air ride suspension that is the lightest van slider on the market, and the 86AR/RS3035, a reintroduction of one of most durable trailer suspensions ever built, with improvements in tire wear and the unprecedented coverage off the industry’s first limited lifetime warranty.
